UV flatbed printers sometimes have ink flying phenomenon during working process. Flying ink will damage appearance of printed product and reduce quality of product. So in daily operation process, how should we correctly operate to prevent phenomenon of ink flying?
1. Phenomenon of ink flying in UV flatbed printers is generally due to long vertical distance between print head and printing material. Ink droplets ejected by nozzle are under influence of outside world, and ink droplets move in a curve instead of falling down vertically, causing ink droplets to move. Landing point is not at originally determined position. The higher distance between nozzle and product, greater probability of this phenomenon. So this is why we often say that distance between nozzle and product is moderate. If it is caused by this reason, generally we can solve problem by adjusting distance between nozzle and material. Generally, the best distance is between 1.5-2MM.
2. In long-term production process of Skycolor UV flatbed printer, static electricity may be generated, and then a magnetic field may be generated. When ink is pressed down, down force of ink is reduced due to magnetic field, resulting in phenomenon of ink flying. Nowadays, many uv flatbed printers are equipped with anti-static equipment, and anti-static facilities are installed beside UV led, which can effectively eliminate static electricity generated during production process and solve problem of ink flying. Reason: When environment is dry and humidity is low, it is easy to generate static electricity, which will cause static electricity between nozzle and material. Solution: Add a ground wire and add an electrostatic rod for Skycolor uv flatbed printer.
3. Voltage of nozzle of Skycolor UV flatbed printer is not enough. There are many kinds of ink, and characteristics of ink are different. If ink fluency is relatively poor and voltage of uv print head is low, this situation may also cause ink flying. Generally, problem can be solved by increasing correction voltage of uv print head.
4. Voltage of Skycolor uv printer head is too high; observe voltage displayed by indicator light on printhead board to see if red light is on and alarms. If this happens, you need to lower uv print head voltage. If it is a modified circuit board, circuit needs to be changed.
5. Nozzle missing of Skycolor uv printer occurs; Solution: Print a test strip and check condition of uv flatbed printer head. If it is found to be clogged or weakened, it is necessary to clean nozzle channel to keep it unobstructed.
6. Pulse interval of Skycolor uv flatbed printer's electronic control system to control nozzle ignition is unreasonable, causing UV printer to fly ink. Solution: need technical personnel to solve problem.
