The continuous ink supply system is one of the ink supply methods of the banner printer. When using this ink supply system, the ink cartridges are prone to air bubbles,affect the printing effect.How to discharge the air bubbles in the continuous supply ink cartridge? What are the common trouble phenomena of the continuous ink supply system? 

Trouble phenomenon: 1. The continuous ink supply system has been working normally for several months, but now it cannot print; 2. The cleaning command must be executed many times before normal printing every day; 3. The printed test line always has an unfixed disconnection ; 4. The test line at the beginning of the printing is normal, but the line is broken after printing a few pages; 5. The printing is always missing one color (usually black); 6. The external ink cartridge has been in the low position for a long time, and now the ink line does not enter ink anymore. DTF Printer Manufacturer

Solution: The above troubles are all caused by the air bubble in the ink cartridge. After the continuous ink supply system is used for six months, the accumulation of a small amount of tiny air bubbles in the ink and a small amount of air bubbles entering the print cartridge from the print nozzle will gradually foam the ink. The maintenance method is not complicated, just take out the foam and replace it with normal ink. Lowering the external ink cartridge by mistake will also accelerate the formation of ink cavity foam. Even if the continuous ink supply system of the original ink cartridge is used, the above failures will also occur. 

To troubleshoot this kind of failure, please follow the steps below:

1.Remove the continuous ink supply system from the banner printer. After removal, the print cartridge should not be turned upside down, but placed on the same level as the external ink cartridge. If a sealing plug is used during initial installation, insert the sealing plug into each ink outlet at the bottom of the ink cartridge.

2.After the ink cart returns to its position, the banner printing machine will perform a natural cleaning once, and please perform a nozzle check and print test line. You can repeat cleaning and printing the test line 3 times until the test line is completely normal. Then print the four-color or six-color color patch test chart (depending on your model, the printing setting is 360DPI / plain paper mode), the color patch test chart must be printed continuously for 3~5 sheets, and observe whether the printer is working normally. If the printing is abnormal, repeat the above steps. If the printer is still abnormal after cleaning for 9 to 12 times, you can let the printer rest for 12 hours before testing. In most cases, the printer can return to normal.

3. When your banner printer is working normally, the following steps can restore your continuous ink supply system to normal. Insert the tip of the disposable syringe tube (with the needle removed, 50ml) into the ink outlet at the bottom of the print cartridge connected to the continuous ink supply system, tilt the syringe tube slightly, and start to draw ink from the cartridge slowly. When the syringe barrel is full, observe the amount of ink and foam drawn to know the specific cause. The banner printer will not print out the foamy ink normally, you must draw them out through the syringe. Uncover the rubber plug of the external ink cartridge and inject the ink in the syringe back into the external ink cartridge. This process does not waste ink, the foamy ink will turn into liquid ink after two hours. Repeat this process of drawing ink with a syringe until almost no bubbles are visible in the drawn ink. This can be guaranteed by about 100 ml of ink circulating. That is, the ink drawing process needs to be repeated twice.

Note: The ink drawing process should be slow, you can stop, don't cut it too fast. Follow the sequence of yellow → light magenta → magenta → light cyan → cyan → black to perform the above ink drawing process. When changing the color, be sure to clean the syringe with warm water.

4. Put the ink cartridge and the continuous ink supply system back into the banner printer machine, and check and debug according to the operation sequence of step 2 above until it is normal.
