The piezoelectric printer ink is also called solvent ink. Because it contains anti-oxidation, anti-ultraviolet, volatile and other components, the temperature required for use has a certain range. If there are nozzle accumulation problem, disconnection, etc. in continuous printing, the reasons are as follows:
1.the working environment temperature is too high, the nozzle ink accumulation problem will occur
Because the solvent-based ink is suitable for use in an environment of about 25 ℃, if the temperature is too high or too low will affect its normal work. For example, if the temperature is too high, the temperature of the ink will increase, causing its relative viscosity to decrease.
The phenomenon of the machine is: the same ink will be good and bad during use
Solutions: (1) Replace higher viscosity inks (2) Use air conditioners and humidifiers to maintain indoor temperature and humidity (3) Find ways to cool down the nozzles (such as installing fans).
2.the secondary ink cartridge is not cleaned regularly or the filter is used for too long, which is prone to disconnection problems
Because in the printing, the secondary ink cartridge has been making a reserve tank, and because the ink is a volatile suspended liquid, it will form a sediment in the secondary ink cartridge. If it will not be cleaned for a long time, the sediment enters the nozzle, it will block the nozzle.
The filter is a consumable product. Its service life is generally 3 months. If it is used for a long time, it will lose its filtering effect and will not filter the ink.
3. Other causes and solutions of ink accumulation in the nozzle
Possible causes: (1) The liquid level of the secondary ink cartridge is too high; (2) The viscosity of the ink is too low; (3) The voltage of the nozzle is too high; (4) The ink is deteriorated
Solutions: (1) Lower the secondary ink cartridge properly, and different adjustments can be made according to different batches of ink (2) The ink is oscillated with a specially-equipped ultrasonic wave for a period of time; (3) It is recommended to adjust the voltage to the normal working voltage; (4) Replace the ink.
Others: The accumulation of ink in the nozzle is essentially different from the clogging of the nozzle. (1) The clogging of the nozzle is because the filter of the nozzle is blocked, and the ink droplets cannot be ejected at all. (2) The ink accumulation in the nozzle is caused by ink density, viscosity or liquid level, etc., which causes the ink droplets to adhere to the nozzle surface and hang into droplets, making the ink jet uneven, skewed, or even blocked.
4.Other causes and solutions of clogged nozzles
Possible causes: (1) The ink concentration is too high or the ink is left for too long to cause precipitation; (2) The shutdown time is too long, the nozzle is not processed or cleaned in time, or the treatment method is improper or incomplete.
Solution: (1) It is recommended to oscillate the ink with a special ultrasonic wave for a period of time before using the ink (2) ①Suction with a vacuum aspirator; ②Rinse the spray head with cleaning solution; ③Use a special ultrasonic wave to wash the spray head (caution use); ④ Use a straw to suck out properly.
